Israeli tourism 2011. 

In 2010 Israel hit a new height in incoming tourism - 1.6 million tourists visited the country in the first half of the year. The  number of tourists has essentially increased  up to 27% in comparison to the same period of 2009. In 2011 more than 3 million tourists are supposed to visit Israel . The expected tourism growth of almost 20% is rather favorable for Israel as it creates new working places. The ministry of Tourism invested much money in the marketing program to boost the  tourist business in Israel. They make great efforts trying to bring in about 5 million tourists by the year 2015 . Tourists enjoy their visits to the Holy Land and the fact that things are quiet on the security-front at the moment just increases it.
