Jazz Festival at the Red Sea

The Red Sea International Jazz Festival has been taking place in Eilat in the last week of August every year and has been drawing lovers of Jazz from Israel as well as from abroad since it began in 1987.

This year the festival is celebrating its 25th Anniversary which will take place starting on August 21st 2011 up to and including August -24th 2011.

The enchanting mix of formal concerts with internationally acclaimed musicians and informal Jam sessions running long into the night creates a rare vibe.

The Red Sea Jazz Festival makes every effort to provide a broad spectrum of music while presenting Israel’s top groups and guest groups including top Jazz artists from around the world. This year the festival will host amongst many others Palmeiri, Raul Midon, Pedrito Martinez and Lizz Wright.

At 19.00 every evening there will be an open concert that will feature the best young jazz groups from Israel and over the 4 days of the festival there will be 3 different concerts with international and Israeli artists  who will perform in each of the halls.

Music enthusiasts will be welcomed again at the Eilat Port to enjoy plenty of good music amidst pleasing surroundings and at the same time enjoy a pleasant vacation.
