Agritech 2012 Tour

Visit the Agritech 2012 exhibition in Israel and tour the country visiting organic vegetable farms, greenhouses and dairy farms as well as visiting the main sites of Israel along the way.

Day 1: Arrival
Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport.  You will be met by a VERED representative, assisted through customs. Transfer to your Hotel in Tel Aviv for overnight.

Day 2: Exhibition
After breakfast transfer to Tel Aviv to the Agritech Trade show. Late afternoon return to your hotel in Tel Aviv for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Field Tours- Dead Sea
After breakfast drive along the Jordanian Valley to visit Organic Vegetable Farm and visit Herb Farm. After Lunch, Proceed to the DEAD SEA to enjoy floating in the waters of the Dead Sea which have amazing healing powers.  The Dead Sea is the lowest place in the world.   Transfer to your hotel in Dead Sea for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Field Tours
After breakfast drive to a Kibbutz in the northern Galilee area. Visit Green Houses and Dairy farms. Transfer to hotel in Tiberias for dinner and over night.

Day 5: Galilee Tour
After breakfast drive to MT. OF BEATITUDES where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount. Visit CAPERNAUM on the northwest shore of the Sea of Galilee were Jesus began his preaching career. The town is also well known during Second Temple, Roman and Byzantine periods.  Visit TABGHA, the site of the Miracle of the Multiplication.   Take a BOAT RIDE on the Sea of Galilee.  Drive to YARDENIT where the Jordan River flows into the Sea of Galilee, this spot, a few meters down from the place where John the Baptist baptized Jesus, was developed as a baptism area.    Return to your Hotel in Tiberias for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Jerusalem- Bethlehem- Departure
After breakfast drive up the Mt. of Olives for wonderful view of the Old City of Jerusalem.  Visit the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations.
Enter the Old City, visit the Pools of Bethesda and walk along the Via Dolorosa following the Stations of the Cross.  Visit the Western Wall.  Visit Mt. Zion and the Room of the Last Supper.   In the Afternoon visit Bethlehem – the city where Jesus was born.  Visit the Church of Nativity and the Grotto.  Continue to the Shepherds Fields.
Farewell dinner before transfer to Airport for departure flight.
