Experience first-hand the biblical sites of the Holy Land
Day 1. Jaffa - Tel Aviv - Netanya
Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Ancient Sea Port of Jaffa, known to be the oldest Seaport in the world. Drive through Tel Aviv and along the Coast to the Resort town of Netanya. Rest of the day at leisure to unwind after your long fight. Time to relax and swim in the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Dinner and overnight in Tel Aviv.
Day 2. Caesarea - Muhraka (Mount Carmel) - Nazzareth - Cana - Tiberias
Drive along the coast to the Roman city of Caesarea with its amazing excavations. After visit continue to Mount Carmel where Elijah confronted the priests of Baal. Continue to the town of Nazareth where Jesus grew to manhood. Visit the Churches, and proceed to Cana the site of the first Miracle where Jesus turned water into wine. Here it is possible to renew marriage vows in the Wedding Church. Continue to Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee and check into your kibbutz hotel on the shores of the Sea of Galilee where you can enjoy time swimming in the Galilee. Dinner and overnight on the Kibbutz.
Day 3. Boat Ride - Boat Museum - Mount of Beatitudes - Tabgha - Capernaum - Yardenit
Take a Bout Ride on the Sea of Galilee. Time for prayer and reflection on the water. Visit the Boat Museum where you can see the "Jesus Boat" which was brought up from the bottom on the Sea of Galilee. Drive up the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount. Visit Tabgha the site of the feeding of the multitudes and then proceed to Capernaum where Jesus preached in the Ancient Synagogue. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight. Time to enjoy a swim in the Sea of Galilee before dinner.
Day 4. Yardenit - Jericho - Qumran - Dead Sea
Proceed to Yardnit, traditional Baptism site for Baptism in the same water where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. Drive along the Jordan Valley to the Ancient City of Jericho. Enter Jericho and view the Mount of Temptation and the Tel Jericho. Jericho is the oldest inhabited city in the world. Drive to Qumran, the site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Check into Kibbutz hotel at the Dead Sea for dinner and overnight. Here you can enjoy floating in the waters of the Dead Sea which have amazing healing powers. The Dead Sea is the lowest place in the world.
Day 5. Dead Sea - Masada - Jerusalem
Time to further enjoy the waters of the Dead Sea, visit Masada and ascend the cliff top fortress by Cable Car to inspect the ruins of Herod's palace and fortifications which later served the Zealots to resist the Romans. Descend by Cable Car. Drive up to Jerusalem and check into hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 6. Bethlehem - City of David - Mount Zion - St. Peter in Gallicantu
Drive to the city of Bethlehem to visit the Church of Nativity where Jesus was born and the Shepherds Fields where the shepherds were tending their flocks when they heard a heavenly chorus and followed the Star to Bethlehem. Time for shopping in Bethlehem. Leave Bethlehem and drive back to Jerusalem to visit the City of David, excavations of the original City of David, outside the Walls of the Old City. Visit Mount Zion, the Hall of the Last Supper and the Tomb of King David. Visit the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu built on the site of the house of the high Priest Caiaphas. Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 7. Mount of Olives - Garden of Gethsemane - Church of All Nations - Pools of Bethesda - Church of St. Anna - Via Dolorosa - Garden Tomb
Drive up the Mount of Olives for wonderful view of the Old City of Jerusalem. Walk along the Palm Sunday Road to the Garden of Gethsemane. Visit the Church of All Nations. Enter the Old City of Jerusalem through the St. Stephens Gate and visit the Pools of Bethesda where Jesus cured the Paralytic man. Visit the Church of St. Anne and begin your walk along the Via Dolorosa starting from Lithstrotus (Judgment Hall) following the Stations of the Cross. Visit Garden Tomb and time for prayer and reflection. Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 8. Western Wall - Ein Karem - Mini Israel - Departure
Visit the Western Wall then continue to Ein Karem, the birthplace of John the Baptist, then proceed to Mini Israel for visit. Transfer to the airport for final departure.
