Catholic Tour of Israel 7 Days, 6 Nights

Below is an itinerary for our 7 Day, 6 night Catholic Tour of the Holy Land taking you to places such as Nazareth, Jerusalem, Bethlehem and the Dead Sea.

Tour the Christian Holy sites on this pilgrimage tour to Israel

Day 1. ARRIVAL IN ISRAEL
Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport. You will be met by a Vered Hasharon representative, helped through customs and transferred to your hotel in Tel Aviv for Dinner and overnight.

Day 2. JAFFA, CAESAREA, MUCHRAKA, MEGIDDO, TIBERIAS
After breakfast begin your tour of Israel by driving through the city of TEL AVIV to the ancient port of JAFFA which has been beautifully restored as an Artist Quarter. See the site of the House of Simon. Continue along the coast to CAESAREA. Visit the Roman theater and other excavations. Continue to Mt. Carmel and the site where Elijah confronted the Priests of Baal. Visit MEGIDDO and visit the ruins of King Solomon's Stables. Look out over the Plains of Armagedon referred to the Book of Revelations. Drive to Tiberias and check into hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3. BOAT RIDE,CAPERNAUM, TABGHA, MT.OF BEATITUDES, CANA, NAZARETH, JORDAN RIVER, TIBERIAS
After breakfast take a Boat Ride on the Sea of Galilee. Visit ancient CAPERNAUM where Jesus performed many miracles. Visit TABGHA where Jesus fed the Multitudes. On to the MT. OF BEATITUDES where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount. Proceed to CANA, the site of the first miracle and then to NAZARETH . Here we will visit the Church of the Annunciation on the spot where Gabriel informed Mary she would give birth to the Messiah. Drive to the Jordan River in whose waters John baptized Jesus. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4. JERICHO, DEAD SEA, JERUSALEM
After breakfast drive along the Jordan Valley past JEICHO one of the world's oldest walled cities and the city Joshua destroyed. On then to the lowest spot on the earth DEAD SEA. Conditions permitting float in its unique mineral-rich waters. After this drive to the inn of the Good Samaritan and then ascend to the Holy City of Jerusalem. Check into hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

Day 5. NEW CITY OF JERUSALEM AND BETHLEHEM
After breakfast drive up the MT. OF OLIVES for an overview of the Old City of Jerusalem. Walk along the Palm Sunday Road to the Garden of Gethsemane. Visit the Church of all Nations. Continue to MT. ZION and visit the Upper Room whereJesus and his Disciples ate the Last Supper. Drive to BETHLEHEM and the Church of the Nativity built over the site where Jesus was born. View the Shepherds' Fields and see the place where the shepherds were tending their flocks when they heard a heavenly chorus and followed the star to Bethlehem. Return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

Day 6. OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM
After breakfast enter the old city through the St. Stephens gate. Walk to the Pool of Bethesda where Jesus cured the paralytic man. Walk along the VIA DOLOROSA and follow the 14 Stations of the Cross to the CHURCH OF THE HOLY SEPULCHRE. Visit the WAILING WALL where Jews gather from all over the world to commemorate the destruction of the First and Second Temples and pray for the restoration of Israel† a prayer already being fulfilled.. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure for shopping in the bazaars of the Old City. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 7. DEPARTURE
Today you will be transferred to Ben Gurion Airport and a Vered Hasharon representative will assist you with all formalities for your departure flight.
