Introduction to the Holyland - Catholic Tour - 5 Days

On this tour we introduce you to the amazing Holy Land and take you to explore places such as Jerusalem, Sea of Galilee, Tabgha and many more biblical sites in Israel.

Tour the Christian holy sites of Israel

Day 1. ARRIVAL IN ISRAEL

Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport. You will be met by a Vered Hasharon representative, helped through customs and transferred to your hotel in Tel Aviv for dinner and overnight.

Day 2. JAFFA, CAESAREA, MT.CARMEL, NAZARETH, JORDAN RIVER, TIBERIAS

After breakfast begin your tour of Israel by driving through the city of Tel Aviv to ancient JAFFA to see the site of the House of Simon the Tanner. Here Peter had a vision. Continue northwards along the Mediterranean coast via the Plains of Sharon to ancient Caesarea. Visit the Roman theater . Drive via Mt. Carmel to NAZARETH and visit the Church of Annunciation built at the site where Gabriel informed Mary she would give birth to the Messiah. Continue via CANA to the Jordan River in whose waters John baptized Jesus. Continue through Tiberias to your Galilee hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3. BOAT RIDE, CAPERNAUM, TABGHA, MT. OF BEATITUDES, JERICHO, DEAD SEA, JERUSALEM

After breakfast drive to TIBERIAS and take a Boat Ride on the Sea of Galilee. Visit ancient CAPERNAUM where Jesus lived and performed many miracles. Visit TABGHA where Jesus fed the Multitudes with two fish and five loaves. On to the MT.OF BEATITUDES where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount. Continue via JERICHO the city Joshua destroyed, to the DEAD SEA, the lowest spot on earth. Conditions permitting, float in its unique mineral rich water. Travel up the Judean Hills to JERUSALEM the Holy City. Check into Jerusalem hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4. OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM AND BETELHEM

After breakfast drive to MT. OF OLIVES for an overview of Jerusalem and hear an explanation of Jerusalem's history. Time for photos and possibly a camel ride. Visit the site of Jesus' ascension. On to the GARDEN OF GETHSEMANE WHERE Jesus thought of the bitter cup he would drink. See the old olive trees and visit the Church of Agony. Enter the old City through St. Stephen's gate and visit the POOL OF BETHESDA where Jesus cured the Paralytic man. Walk along the VIA DOLOROSA and follow the 14 Stations of the Cross to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, built over the site of Calvary and the Tomb. Continue to Mt. Zion and visit the Upper Room where Jesus and his Disciples ate the Last Supper. Drive to BETHLEHEM to visit the Church of Nativity built on the site of the Manager where Jesus was born. View the Shepherds' Fields where the shepherds were tending their flocks when they heard a heavenly chorus and followed the star to Bethlehem. Return to Jerusalem hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 5. DEPARTURE

Today you will be transferred to Ben Gurion Airport and a Vered Hasharon representative will assist you all formalities for your Departure Flight.
