 Living Waters Tour

My parents and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves throughout the Living Waters Tour between 22-28.10.16 We especially appreciate the extra effort made into picking us up from my residential address. I'd also like to commend our tour guide, Ze'ev Friedman, for providing a level of service far beyond our expectations.

I am not one to write an unsolicited letter of commendation. However, I've been so impressed by the commitment and dedication that Ze'ev has rendered to our entire tour group that I feel compelled to write this email.

Ze'ev has extensive knowledge not only on matters related to the tour, but also on history, geography, and botany. He is always more than willing to share that knowledge with us. While we're talking our time enjoying the sights at the places of interest, Ze'ev can be seen busy making additional arrangements to make our already wonderful tour even more exceptional.

What impressed me the most was his attention to the needs and interest of the group, as well as to individuals with special concerns. This is the first tour that has left me with such an overwhelmingly positive impression.

Once again, thank you for putting together such a lovely tour. I highly recommend Ze'ev for your future tours. Cheers!

Regards,
Edmund

Francois Carr, Executive Director of Heart Cry South Africa and Te Deum Tours

As an author, Bible teacher, and tour leader, I have had the privilege of walking the lands of the Bible with thousands of pilgrims who came to see where the patriarchs, prophets, Jesus and His apostles lived in the Old and New Testament. It is always great to watch people been impacted and changed when they learn about the land, people, culture of the Bible, realizing that it is set in real time and places.  Many has returned to their homes deepened in their faith and returned back to Egypt, Israel, Turkey and Greece, to see, learn and experience more.  However, due to the current unrest in the world affecting Egypt/Turkey/Greece and especially Israel many people and pilgrims is not returning or afraid to come back.  I want to encourage all pastors and tour leaders not to forget all of those who struggle at the moment, and help them to have faith and hope.  You can ‘return in your mind’ to those places which you have seen by praying for the peace of the lands.  You can ‘return in your heart' by keeping contact with all the friends that you have made.  You can 'return with your feet’ by visiting the places and friends and support them.  The unrest is affecting all families, job security, tourism, travel agencies and the tour operators that arranges our tours and the economy on all levels of life, not just for one but for all the nations from the Biblical Lands.  Now is the time to act.  Now is the time to return and support those that are affected. I am returning and standing with my friends in Israel and other Biblical Lands. Why don’t you join me in returning?

TOURISTS VISITING ISRAEL - Isak Burger

Jews are (again) experiencing an onslaught in their own country - this time by cruel individual attacks.

Fact however is that ALL Israeli citizens and not only Jews, are suffering because of this.

I have no doubt that the Israeli government will normalize matters in the foreseeable future - probably more efficiently and responsibly than any other country would be able to solve similar problems.

In the meanwhile, tourists are least affected by the violent incidents - our tour group was in Israel when the latest violence started.

While life in general is a risk - anytime, anywhere in the world - I personally do not consider Israel a less safe place for tourists than before.

Both the government and Vered Hasharon make sure that the safety of tourists is never compromised.

It is not a time for pilgrims and people who love Israel to stay away.

Esté Geldenhuys - South Africa

Since 2006 it has been my great privilege to travel to Israel with Groups. Do I get tired of it? No!! Not at all! Every other trip brings new revelations in the Scriptures, I make new friends on and off the bus and with every trip my love for Israel and all her people grows deeper.

Sometimes I sit at home and remember exactly how it feels to walk out into the open on top of Masada, or what it is like to be on a boat on the Galilea, or to experience the carpets of yellow flowers during the month of April in the Huldah Valley! And when I read my Bible at home, I remember Israel even with my senses. All honour and praises to our Lord God who allows us to go there and who is faithful to meet us in special ways, again and again!

And then it happens that times are not always easy in Israel. Of course no one would like to walk into any dangerous situation. But I trust God to direct my ways and then I also know that the staff of Vered Hasharon are committed to serve and also to be honest.  They will never expose any group to danger.

Stop and think, how many people’s lives were changed for the good of the Kingdom of God because of a trip to Israel. Let us give something back and keep going. Share the Gospel in Israel, stand in prayer with her people and walk in faith.

From Angus Buchan

Dear Mushi

Greetings in the precious name of Jesus, 'Shalom' (the peace of the Lord be with you).
Words cannot express my gratitude and thankfulness for your love poured out towards me.

After having got back to the farm I had to pinch myself many times to make sure that I wasn't dreaming of what took place last week!   What a privilege to preach the word of God in the most famous city in the world and at the most holy site, the Temple Mount.

It was such an honour to meet with you and I hope and pray that this will just be the start of a long and fruitful relationship.  To God be all the glory, honour and thanks!

Lots of love from all of us here at Shalom farm.

Christmas in the Holy land Tour 2015 -

June and Bob Sykes - USA

What a wonderful pilgrimage we had.
What a wonderful group we had, so interactive and caring.

What a wonderful Guide we had. He is a mine of information.
What a wonderful Driver we had. So careful and patient.

Every day was better than the previous day, for Hubby and me.

We felt the presence of the Holy Spirit in every place we visited.
We sounded like a heavenly choir in that tiny acoustic chapel where we sung
"Silent Night"
I think the angels were already singing there, and we just joined in with them :-)

We would be grateful if you could pass on these compliments to your employers, as they need to know how satisfied we are with their " Christmas in the Holy Land" choices.

What a magnificent country is Israel. The centre of the earth and the apple of God's eye.

We are planning to come back next year ( God willing )

Bye for now David, and thank you once again. XX

Happy New Year!!

Many thanks for organizing a wonderful trip.

It was great travelling with a super team the family of 7 was great, Fr Alex was good, Mr Lugya & Christine were great company despite the fact that we didn’t know them – they became part of our family & we got along easily- maybe it was divine organization who knows.

Meet & greet was great as we were met by a certain lad can’t remember his name who directed us to the conveyor to get our luggage while waiting for the family of 7.

Vehicle – it was nice, new & comfortable so all was great with lovely music too

Our Driver Fahim – was great, drove carefully nothing was much trouble for him, he kept the vehicle clean & he even organized some tea/coffee for all of us when we went to Nazareth.  He went out of his way to help check Christine’s sugar levels when they were high. For that I commend his care.  He always drove us carefully

The hotels were great – only thing was they couldn’t give double beds – after the explanation we later found out it was the culture of the Jews – maybe better to advise the couples before departure.

Our Guide Avi- woah I am not sure if I have the right words to describe him – he was a great guide, a friend & nothing was ever too much for him.

He knows his way around Israel, he was very informative, knew the right scriptures to read at the right time, answered all the questions we had- he really impressed me!!! He knew when to stop for lunch, where to advise us to buy & not to buy things from- he was great guide I must say.  He taught us about the Jewish culture too

When we wanted to draw more money he found an ATM for us in Galilee to use though it couldn’t give the amount we wanted- he then suggested that we wait till evening & he indeed showed us a bank that could give us the amounts we needed.  I was a culprit of taking many pictures BUT Avi was always patient with me – at some point I figured I was always delaying the group but he was always happy to wait for me .

We left with a friend in Avi – we all actually invited him to Uganda maybe he will come one day who knows?

We will always have fond memories of Israel – for sure we will go back when our kids are bit bigger so they can see where Jesus was born, grew, crucified & rose from the dead.

Fitting the Bible scriptures we read to the actual thing in Israel was amazing – Israel indeed is a blessed land/ nation & am so happy that we managed to go see/ visit in the end amidst all the hesitation of the bombings – we actually felt safe while there – the people are also very friendly.

Edna- thanks for the tip about the cold- not sure I would have survived if I didn’t have jackets (always wore 2 till I returned), I would like to say thanks a mill for the organization for our lovely trip we had fun indeed- all we can say is thank you very very much & may the almighty God bless you always in your endeavours

All in all we had a great time & I personally can’t fault anything- it was a dream come true for me, I think the same for Bobil – I can go on & on & on………

I have told lots of my friends & relatives & some want to go in 2016 so couple of bookings coming your way I must say.

All the best & a blessed year 2015.

Family TV Group  - Kenya

Dear Morad,

I am writing this letter to express our profound appreciation for the wonderful service you provided in being the Tour Guide for our Family TV Group of 23 who visited your country.

We all learnt so much from you about the holy sites, historical sites, society, economy and facts and figures about your country. Your detailed and intellectual explanations gave us a major insight into the historical perspective of your country and its importance for humanity.

You kept us hooked to your explanations and gave details which opened up our minds. Your vast knowledge in/of theology, ecology and archaeology made you a perfect Guide. When you add on your sense of humour our trip became, for most of us (and especially for me and my wife Mary), the most important we have made in our lives.

We also fondly remember the driver Mr. Kareem whose quiet and disciplined character as well as his dedication and commitment to his work and safe driving made us so happy. Please convey our warm greetings to him.

We still smile when we remember your jokes, your height, the way you walk, smile and laugh. You are an asset and credit to yourself, to your family, to your tour firm Vered Hasharon and to your country.

We invite you to visit Kenya so we can host you and repay the wonderful service you gave to us as our Guide.

Thank you and may your life and that of your family be one of happiness and success.

Yours sincerely,

Benson Wabule

Kenyan Pilgrimage

Dear Harel,

Greetings and kind regards.  We arrived back  safely.

I write to thank you most sincerely for the wonderful pilgrimage we had in the Holy Land.  I have no words to express my inner self!  The whole group was very happy as you witnessed during our last day with the Ambassador in Tel Aviv.  The priests were so excited and I thank God that some of them have already given me people for November.

To Mourad, I can only thank God and pray for him.  He is just a wonderful person!  I have no correct words to describe him.  To our dear young driver Nael, wow!!! His humility and professionalism challenged all of us.  Remember we recommended him for our November pilgrimage.

To Charity and all at Vered, a very big thank you!

Already planning for November.

May the Almighty God bless you all.

Ethiopians living in the USA

Hi Selam,

I just wanted to give you some feedback on our tour of Israel. I traveled
with my mom, both first timers. Firstly, I would like to thank you for
organizing everything so efficiently. The food was great and the site
selections were amazing. I would certainly recommend you and your company to
anyone traveling to Israel. I also believe that it was fair value for what
we did on the tour. Your patience in answering all our questions was also
much appreciated.

Keep up the good job and wish you much success in the future!

Betty

from Kenya

Dear Team,

Hi!

I'm back to Kenya and very happy to have been on the trip.  I'm more educated than I was before but as you said (Danny) I'd need to be there some more, perhaps sell some more as well.....I'll definitely do that - you can count on me as a VERED HASHARON AMBASSADOR!

I can say all went well especially in Israel and yes we had an excellent guide, quite strict with us and with time but I can say, it paid off - we covered all and even had the last day for only traveling back to Eilat/Taba etc.  Elio was fantastic, excellent too!!!!!  I'd recommend him and the driver (Zahi) to any of my other groups! Nice choice of hotels - we were impressed.

Regards

Tim

Dear Danny,

Greetings and kind regards.

I take this opportunity to sincerely thank you and all at Vered Hasharon for the wonderful pilgrimage we experienced in the Holy Land.

I sincerely have no words to express myself but I happy that you witnessed the expression of all the pilgrims during that  meeting with the Deputy Ambassador.

To Harel, we thank him most sincerely for all the arrangements and the warm welcome and reception at the airport.  We missed to see him again…..

To Mourad, we have no words.  Mourad is not just a guide but an evangelizer!  His humility, patience, understanding and knowledge challenged all in the group.  His sense of humour, wow!

To Karim, we say a big thank you for his good work.  His patience and understanding was very much appreciated by the group.

To Charity,  I have no words!............ God bless you.

YOU ALL MADE ME AND THE WHOLE GROUP PROUD!  I can only pray and thank God for the gift of you all.

God bless you all.

UCB Australia 2010 Tour to Israel

 Dear Vered Hasharon,

I have just returned from a trip to Israel with UCB radio that utilized your company. I wanted to express my gratitude towards your tour guide, Boaz Yuval, for introducing me to the wonders of your marvelous country.

Boaz was a walking compendium of knowledge and made sure that we were not just passive observers but actually listening and taking it all in.

The range of sites visited, from general interest to religious, allowed us as visitors to discover the depth and breadth of life in Israel – from bathing in the Dead Sea to visiting the River Jordan, eating falafels in the West Bank to walking through the Garden Tomb. I have no hesitation in recommending your services to others who may be thinking about traveling to Israel. I have also written a first-hand account of the trip for publication throughout our newspaper group, Fairfax Media.
Please pass on my regards to Boaz.

All the best,

Jo O’Dowd
