Following the impressively successful Opera Productions that have taken place at Masada in past years, Nabucco in 2010, Aida, 2011 and Carmen in 2012, this unique opera festival will be returning in June 2014 with a spectacular event that will once again take place at the foot of the world heritage site of Masada in the Judean desert.
To see an opera in this setting is truly an experience of a lifetime. Next year's production of La Traviata will take place on June 12th, 14th and 16th 2014 accompanied by the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon Le Zion, Conductor Daniel Oren and director Michal Znaniecki
More than 150,000 people have attended the Israeli Opera Festival since its commencement. This Festival is the biggest cultural event that has taken place in Israel.
For the first time there will also be a special concert by the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra on June 15th, performing Beethoven’s 9th Symphony under the Baton of the world renowned conductor Kent Negano.
