Itinerary

Day 1

 

Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport, where you will be met by a Vered Tours representative. View the Metropolitan city of Tel Aviv, driving through the main streets and past the main places of interest. Continue to visit JAFFA – south of Tel Aviv which is considered to be the world’s oldest seaport. Much of Old Jaffa has been lovingly restored and now houses an artist’s colony and galleries, together with the many churches and mosques which make for a unique site.
Check into your Tel Aviv hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

 

A full day of professional sightseeing.

After breakfast, drive along the coastal road to visit fruit plantations.

Continue the tour and visit a high-tech factory to learn about Dairy Farming Management. Drive through Jezreel Valley to visit farms with various plantations: cotton, wheat, corn. Proceed to the Sea of Galilee to check into your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

 

After breakfast, visit a Kibbutz in the Galilee that specializes in Agriculture.

Drive to MT. OF BEATITUDES where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount. Visit CAPERNAUM on the northwest shore of the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus began his preaching career. The town is also well known for Second Temple, Roman, and Byzantine periods. Check into your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

 

Drive along the Jordan valley to visit an Herb farm near the Dead Sea. Visit a local date packing house and plantation. Drive back to Jerusalem to visit the Mount of Olives – a Mountain to the east of the Old City which has been used as a cemetery since ancient times. Christian tradition maintains that many events related to the life of Jesus took place on the mountain, hence the many holy sites that are situated there.

Walk along the Palm Sunday road to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of all nations. Enter the Old City to the Pools of Bethesda and the Church of St. Anne. Walk along the Via Dolorosa, also called the Way of the Cross, is a series of lanes in the Old City that, according to Christian tradition, was Jesus’ route from Pilate’s judgment hall to Golgotha. There are 14 Stations along the route, each commemorating an event along Jesus’ route to crucifixion.

Visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Walk through the colorful bazaars. Visit the Western Wall, part of the western retaining wall of the Temple Mount, which became the focal point of the Jewish religion after the Second Temple was destroyed. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 5

 

After breakfast, drive to Tel Aviv and visit the Carmel Vegetable Market- one of Israel’s largest open markets. Proceed to the Airport for your departure flight. .
