Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Israel

Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport. You will be met by a Vered Hasharon representative, helped through customs, and transferred to your hotel in Tel Aviv for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Jaffa, Caesarea, Mt. Carmel, Nazareth, Jordan River, Tiberias

After breakfast, drive through the city of Tel Aviv to ancient Jaffa to see the site of the House of Simon the Tanner. Here Peter had a vision (Acts 10:9-16). Continue northwards along the Mediterranean coast via the Plains of Sharon to ancient Caesarea. Visit the Roman Theater. Drive via Mt. Carmel to Nazareth and visit the Church of Annunciation built at the site where Angel Gabriel informed the Virgin Mary that she would give birth to the Messiah (Luke 1:26–38). We continue via Cana to the Jordan River, in whose waters Jesus was baptized by John. Drive through Tiberias to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Boat Ride, Capernaum, Tabgha, Mt. of Beatitudes, Jericho, Dead Sea, Jerusalem

After breakfast, drive to Tiberias and take an inspirational Boat Ride on the Sea of Galilee. Visit the ancient biblical village of Capernaum, where Jesus lived and performed many miracles. Visit Tabgha, where Jesus fed the Multitudes with two fish and five loaves (Mark 6:30-46). On to the beautifully serene Mt. of Beatitudes, where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount (Luke 6:20-49). Continue via Jericho, the city that Joshua destroyed, to the lowest spot on earth, the Dead Sea. Float in the unique mineral-rich water. Afterward, travel up the Judean Hills to the Holy City of Jerusalem. Check into Jerusalem hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Old City of Jerusalem and Bethlehem

After breakfast, drive to the Mt. of Olives for an overview of Jerusalem and hear an explanation of Jerusalem’s history. Visit Pater Noster, where the Lord’s Prayer was first said. On to the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus was betrayed (Matthew 26:36-56). See the old olive trees and visit the Church of Agony. Enter the old City through St. Stephen’s gate and visit the Pool of Bethesda, where Jesus cured the Paralytic man (John 5:1-9).

Walk along the Via Dolorosa and follow the 14 Stations of the Cross to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, built over the site of Calvary and the Tomb. Continue to Mt. Zion and visit the Upper Room where Jesus and his disciples ate the Last Supper. (Matthew 26:17-30). Afterward, drive to Bethlehem to visit the Church of Nativity built on the site of the Manger where Jesus was born (Luke 2:1-20). Finally, view the Shepherds’ Fields, where the shepherds were tending their flocks when they heard a heavenly chorus and followed the star to Bethlehem (Luke 2:1-20) before returning to Jerusalem hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Departure

Today you will be transferred to Ben Gurion Airport, and a Vered Hasharon representative will assist you with all formalities for your Flight.
