The first Ferry between Israeli cities has begun running seven days a week, the line runs between the cities of Haifa and the Old City of Acre.
The ferry holds 220 people, and provides a festive atmosphere with music and views of the northern Israeli coast. The trip takes 25 minutes allowing travelers to bypass the traffic between Haifa and Acre.
There are beautiful views of both cities from the ferry. Passengers who leave from Haifa arrive in the Acre Old City where they are greeted by narrow alleyways and the city’s active fisherman’s port.
The ship passes by spectacular views of the western and lower Galilee, enabling travelers to enjoy the views as they sail past the walls of the old city of Acre and its famous lighthouse on the way to Haifa.
