ITM Fair Warsaw 24-26.01.2013
Vered Hasharon took part in the 3rd edition of the ITM – International Travel Market Fair in Warsaw which addressed MICE tourism buyers.
We presented our MICE services that we can offer in Israel, Jordan, Egypt and South Africa. Besides networking and showing our presentations and promotional materials at our stand, we also organized presentations in which we gave an overview of the MICE potential and possibilities in the country of Israel.
In one of the presentations ‘Challenged or challenging – the real potential of Israel in the MICE industry” we discussed with the audience about the biggest challenge of the tourism industry in Israel, which is the bad image and the negative perception of the country abroad. Israel – a country with a controversial image and often associated with conflicts, is in reality a great, developed and despite all stereotypes – one of the safest countries in the world – especially for the MICE clients.
In addition to that, the presenter Paulina Z., also showed that Israel as a MICE destination has much more to offer than just the Holy Land and the Dead Sea – the country has a great, undiscovered Northern part of the country, vibrant nightlife in Tel Aviv and (even!) in Jerusalem, as well as lots of space for outdoor extreme sports. In the second presentation ‘Israel – your next holiday destination’, Vered Hasharon presented the potential for leisure tourists in the holiday destination of Israel. Last but not least we also took part in a radio interview for one of the radio stations from Warsaw – ‘Radio dla Ciebie’.
The Polish market is one of the most developing and dynamic ones in the European region at the moment. It seems like this market found its way to survive the economic crisis so visible in the other countries in Europe.
