May 2014 – “Jerusalem Today Reizen” brought a group of 40 tourists from Holland to Israel on an 8 day tour. Vered Hasharon handled all the land arrangements and ensured a successful and most enjoyable tour of the Holy Land
The group began their tour by driving up to Nazareth and visiting sites in the Galilee region including Nazareth Village, Tabgha, Capernaum, the Mount of Beatitudes and also enjoyed a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.
The group then travelled to Mount Gerazim in Samaria with the historical ruins and the ancient city of Shiloh situated in Samaria.
Next on the itinerary was Qasr El Yahud baptism site, Ein Gedi to visit David’s waterfall, Masada and a float on the Dead Sea.
Continuing on to Jerusalem the group toured, amongst other places, Yad Vashem Memorial to the Holocaust, The Israel museum and the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed, The Garden of Gethsemane, Bethesda and St Anne’s Church, the Western Wall, The City of David and the Garden Tomb
