April is a very hectic month in the Holy Land. The Jews celebrate Passover, the Jewish Passover that lasts for eight days, while Christians celebrate Holy Week. Many activities and events take place in this period, which ends up attracting an above-average number of tourists to the region.
Without counting spring weather, very pleasant temperatures throughout the day and the birth of flowers, which contribute even more to attract local and foreign tourists to walk and enjoy all the beauty of the Holy Land.
Many people travelled from around the globe to the Holy Land for Easter. Many of our groups arrived in time to take part in the Palm Sunday Walk to the Old City of Jerusalem. They then travelled around the Holy Land visiting the sites in Cana, Nazareth, Yardenit baptism site and the Mount of Beatitudes where the Sermon on the Mount was delivered by Jesus and other sites in the region before returning to Jerusalem on Good Friday to spend 3 days visiting the Holy sites of Jerusalem and surrounding area including Mass in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher on Easter Sunday.
As we say goodbye to all our wonderful groups from April, we prepare to welcome our May groups and make sure they, too enjoy a trip of a lifetime.
