Since the beginning of 2017 a large number of groups have travelled from the USA to tour the holy Land with all land arrangements being made by Vered Hasharon.
The groups spent their time here visiting the Christian holy sites around the country as well as historical and more modern places in Israel that were incorporated into the schedules.
These included biblical sites in Jerusalem such as the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the Via Dolorosa, Church of All Nations, Mount Zion to see the Church of the Dormition, the Room of the Last Supper and King David’s Tomb. Most of them also visited the Church of Nativity and Shepherd’s Field in Bethlehem.
In the Galilee region they spent time at various different biblical sites such as: Nazareth - where Jesus grew to manhood and the Sea of Galilee region which was the center of his ministry. They also visited Tabgha, Capernaum, Cana and the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount, all of which have great religious meaning to Christians. Some of the groups also enjoyed a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee which gave them time for reflection and prayer.
A number of the groups also had spiritual experiences like a baptism ceremony in the River Jordan, the same waters where John baptized Jesus.
Many of the groups also visited Masada and the Dead Sea as well as the Qumran Caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered.
The visitors all had a wonderful time touring the Holy Land and returned home with stories and adventures of a lifetime to share with family and friends.
