Chinese Leisure Tour
A group of 19 people arrived from Shanghai China on July 25 to spend 5 days on a leisure tour of Israel.
The group were picked up at the Sheikh Hussein crossing between Jordan and Israel and transferred to Tiberias stopping at Yardenit Baptism site along the way.
After dinner and overnight at their hotel the group spent the next day visited the Mount of Beatitudes and St Peter’s Church, enjoyed a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. They drove to Haifa to see Mt Carmel and continued to Caesarea to visit the archeological sites before driving to Old Jaffa for a tour and then to their hotel in Tel Aviv.
The third day was spent in Jerusalem touring the Old City including the Western Wall; Via Dolorosa, Church of Holy Sepulcher and the Temple Mount.
Monday was spent touring Bethlehem and more sites in Jerusalem.
Their final day took them to the Dead Sea region for a visit of the Qumran Caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered and they got some time to enjoy a float on the waters of the Dead Sea before departing back to Jordan via Allenby Bridge.
