Muslim Group Tour from Senegal
In May this year a group of 9 Muslims from Senegal arrived in Israel for a tour.
This group tour included visiting the sites in and around Jerusalem. The main sites included the Al Aqsa Mosque, the Dome of the Rock and the Mosque of Omar. They also had time to visit the L. A. Mayer Institute for Islamic Art and enjoy the magnificent collections on display. The group continued their tour in Bethlehem, visiting the Church of the Nativity and Rachel's Tomb followed by a visit to the tomb of Nebi Samuel. They also spent some time touring Hebron (Al Khalil).
After departing from Jerusalem the group drove north visiting the Roman ruins in Caesarea, The Baha’i Gardens and the Cave of the Prophet Elijah in Haifa. Continuing on to the ancient port of Akko they spent time exploring the El Jazzar Mosque and Khan Al-Umdan.
After staying overnight in Akko the group travelled to the airport for their departure flight.
