During the week of Easter a group of 103 participants led by Goran Duveskog arrived from Sweden for 11 days to tour the wonderful sights of Israel.
Their trip began in Tiberias where they spent a few days exploring the sites in the region of the Sea of Galilee including visiting the Mount of Beatitudes, Ginnosar and enjoyed a boat ride on the waters of the Sea of Galilee. While in the north the group visited Yardnit for a baptism ceremony in the Jordan River.
The group was made up of people of all ages, at least 35 participants were between the ages of 10-30 and the atmosphere and comradery amongst the group was wonderful.
While in Jerusalem the group visited Bethesda, Mount of Olives, Via Dolorosa, and Western Wall amongst other places. They got to visit Bethlehem before driving southwards stopping at the Dead Sea and Ein Gedi National Park before continuing down to Eilat for two days of rest and relaxation including a cruise on the Red Sea.
